Goods-In Operative – Chill & Frozen Stock Management BWG Foods are currently recruiting for a General Operative on a Full-Time Permanent basis based in Value Centre, Galway. Duties Include:
- Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.
- Checking-in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
- Stock management
- Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.
- Attend monthly briefings/meetings.
- Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.
- Ensure all areas maintained and clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist customers.
- Other associated duties as requested by your manager.
- Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient, chilled, and frozen The suitable candidate should:
- Have good organisational and time management abilities.
- Be proactive.
- Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
- Have a good working knowledge of HACCP.
- Be motivated and enthusiastic.
- Be dedicated and flexible.
- Have the ability to project a professional image at all times.
- Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.
- Experience operating a reach forklift, along with a current and valid operator’s certificate, is highly desirable
- Must be comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environment
