Field Service Technician (Heavy Equipment / Construction / Infrastructure) - South America

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client's team and support the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment across a variety of industries, including construction and infrastructure. In this role, you will work on premium heavy equipment brands and play a key part in ensuring maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, generators, etc.) Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults Carry out on-site repairs and emergency breakdown response Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot equipment issues Complete service reports and documentation accurately Coordinate with parts teams to ensure timely repairs Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times Requirements Technical diploma or certification in Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair Hands-on experience with premium equipment brands (e.

g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, or similar) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to work independently in field conditions Problem-solving mindset and strong technical skills Customer-oriented attitude and good communication skills Valid driver’s license Benefits
