Job description
We are looking for a Cloud & Data Engineer/Architect to join a global team building next-generation cloud-native data platforms for leading automotive OEMs. Work with cutting-edge technologies across Cloud, Data, AI/ML, and GenAI, enabling real-time insights and data-driven transformation in the mobility space.
What You'll Do
Design and build scalable cloud data platforms for large-scale automotive datasets. Develop data pipelines, platforms, and AI-enabled solutions (ETL/ELT, streaming, batch). Work with modern technologies: AWS/Azure, Databricks/Snowflake, Kafka, Python, Spark. Contribute to AI/GenAI use cases (LLMs, RAG, advanced analytics).
Collaborate with global teams in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
What We're Looking For
Experience in Cloud & Data Engineering / Architecture. Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure, Data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines. Exposure to Databricks / Snowflake / Spark / Python / SQL. Understanding of AI/ML or GenAI technologies (LLM, MLOps, etc.). Business level Japanese and business level English.
Nice to Have
Experience in automotive / mobility data domain (connected vehicles, SDV, telemetry). Knowledge of DataOps / DevOps / CI-CD / streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis). Certifications (AWS, Databricks, etc.) Work Place: Tokyo/Osaka (Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days at work-from-home)
