Job title: Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor Sector: Oil & Gas – Pipeline Project (EACOP) Starting date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Renewable: Yes Location: Tanzania/Ouganda Status: Rotational (TBA) Language: English French is a plus JOB DIMENSIONS The Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor will oversee all instrumentation commissioning activities to ensure equipment and systems are safely brought into operation.
ACTIVITIES
- Supervise commissioning of instrumentation systems
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures
- Coordinate field activities with contractors and operations teams
- Support start-up activities and troubleshooting
- Monitor commissioning progress and performance
- SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
- Perform loop checking and calibration verification
- Supervise instrument functional testing
- Validate test records and commissioning dossiers
- Support pressure, temperature, flow and analytical instrumentation commissioning
- Assist local workforce development and mentoring HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and enforce HSE policies
- Conduct field safety inspections
- Ensure risk mitigation measures are applied QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation or Automation
- Minimum 8–10 years of commissioning experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas facilities or pipeline projects
