JOB SUMMARY
Clemson University Athletics is looking for a Recruiting Operations Intern to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below. JOB DUTIES: 25% - Host prospective student athletes PSA on campus during unofficial and official visits. Conduct tours for the following unofficial visits official visits donors group visits, etc.
25% - Abide by Clemson University Compliance NCAA rules regulations and bylaws
25% - Conduct day to day operations of the recruiting office, including but not limited to: general administrative and clerical support, sorting and distributing mail, sending and receiving packages, graphics and deliveries, vendor communication and scheduling,day-to-day tracking inventory for mass mailings and prepping materials for meetings and events
25% - Assist with other aspects within the football facility including but not limited to event management gameday operations hospitality and foundation service events
25% - Provide support to Clemson Football staff members with various projects and tasks as needed Perform other duties as assigned and collaborate with the Director of On Campus Recruiting and Clemson Football Staff JOB CODE: AH73 EMPLOYEE TYPE: Temporary (TMP) Staff (Fixed Term) Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB KNOWLEDGE Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Not responsible for supervising employees. BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES Fiscal Responsibilities: Fiscal responsibilities for the department's budget, including but not limited to, financial planning and managing fund allocation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Walk or move about: 5% Move, transport, raise or lower 50 lbs or more: 55% Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself: 5% Move, transport, raise or lower 30lbs or less: 55% Use hands or feet to operate or handle machinery, equipment, etc.: 5% Recognize or inspect visually: 5% Position self to accomplish task (i.e. stoop, kneel, crawl): 5% Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period: 100% Ascend or descend (i.e. stairs, ladder): 5% Stand for Prolonged Period: 100% WORKING CONDITIONS: WORK SCHEDULE: Standard Hours: 28 COMPENSATION INFORMATION: Expected Salary Range - Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines. ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL: Essential Support - In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is necessary to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume.
