Clinical Assistant- School-Based

Functions as a team member to ensure the appropriate, courteous, and professional reception of students and other visitors, who enter the school-based health center. Supports the work of medical and other licensed staff. Duties include information gathering, patient preparation, maintenance of work area/equipment, administration of tests/procedures, staff orientation, record completion and filing, referral initiation and follow up necessary to maintain a properly functioning school-based health center.

Must be culturally sensitive to the needs of the adolescent population in a school setting. Participates in activities related to Quality Improvement.
