Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / NestJS / AWS)

js Backend Engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes experience. This is a cloud-native backend role where you'll build enterprise integration services, work with Terraform, Helm and Amazon EKS, and develop scalable Node.js/NestJS services powering a large telecommunications platform. This is the team You'll join an experienced engineering team responsible for designing and maintaining backend services that connect customer-facing applications with enterprise platforms.

Working closely with frontend, platform, and DevOps engineers, you'll build scalable APIs, develop integration services, and contribute to technical decisions across the entire software delivery lifecycle. This is you 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience Strong commercial experience with Node.js and NestJS Experience building scalable REST APIs and microservices Hands-on experience with AWS Commercial experience with Kubernetes and Docker Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) Experience working with large-scale, business-critical applications Experience integrating enterprise platforms, internal systems, or third-party APIs English — Upper-Intermediate+ Nice to have Helm ArgoCD Git.

Ops workflows Amazon EKS Experience with Salesforce, Netcracker, Storyblok, or similar enterprise platforms Telecommunications industry experience This is your role Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js , TypeScript , and NestJS Build and maintain REST APIs and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services Deploy and operate applications on AWS using Terraform , Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) , Docker , Helm , and Git.

Ops Integrate enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Netcracker, Storyblok, and internal services Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making Collaborate closely with frontend, platform, and DevOps engineers Deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a complex enterprise environment What awaits you at Avenga?
