Job description
The Emergency Department Technician provides support to nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff in the delivery of patient care within the Emergency Department. This role assists with patient assessments, monitors vital signs, prepares patients for procedures, and performs clinical and non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
Additional responsibilities include basic secretarial/receptionist, housekeeping and general supply duties. The ED Technician contributes to patient flow, infection control, and overall departmental operations while maintaining a compassionate, professional approach to patient interactions in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
