• We are positive, courageous and deliver at the leading edge Your Role As a Backend/QA Engineer at PALO IT, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and ensuring the quality of high-performance applications.

Your role

will seamlessly blend backend development and quality assurance, ensuring that our digital solutions meet the highest standards.

• Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python and FastAPI, while optimizing performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to verify the functionality and reliability of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate efficient solutions utilizing Google Cloud SQL, Firestore, and other GCP services.
• Utilize GitHub for version control and pull request-based workflow to ensure collaborative development practices.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to documentation, and assist in the deployment of solutions in a cloud environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and development processes.

Who You Are

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Firestore, and Google Cloud SQL.
• Proven experience in developing automated testing frameworks and conducting quality assurance.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in using GitHub as a collaborative tool, including PR-based workflows and project management via GitHub Projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality software solutions.
