Job title: ICSS Commissioning Supervisor Sector: Oil & Gas – Pipeline Project (EACOP) Starting date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Renewable: Yes Location: Tanzania/Ouganda Status: Rotational (TBA) Language: English French is a plus JOB DIMENSIONS The ICSS Commissioning Supervisor will support the commissioning and start-up of control and safety systems across EACOP facilities.
The role focuses on supervising contractor activities and supporting local teams during commissioning execution. ACTIVITIES
- Supervise ICSS commissioning activities
- Validate testing procedures and commissioning schedules
- Ensure integration between control systems and field equipment
- Coordinate interfaces with instrumentation and electrical disciplines
- Manage contractor and subcontractor activities
- Provide technical support during start-up phases SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
- Supervise loop checks and functional testing
- Witness cause and effect tests
- Validate control narratives and operating philosophies
- Support integration testing of DCS, ESD, F&G and SCADA systems
- Review commissioning dossiers and handover documentation
- Support troubleshooting activities HSE Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with project safety requirements
- Lead risk assessments related to commissioning activities
- Monitor contractor adherence to HSE procedures QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Degree in Automation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of commissioning experience
- Strong experience with ICSS, DCS, ESD, F&G and SCADA systems
- Experience in Oil & Gas commissioning projects
