Job Title Supervisor Stock Control, Born Department Operations Support Team Born Time Type Full time Role Summary The Supervisor Stock Control is leading the Operational Stock Control Team in the Born warehouse. The team is a mix of Stock Controllers and operational support functions like Stock Counters and System Support WMS/TMS.

You are the first point of contact for our internal customers regarding stock management. You ensure the quality of the whole Stock Control process by monitoring the daily tasks and managing the operational team.

Key Responsibilities

The role is located in the European Distribution Center in Born. The Supervisor Stock Control ensures that the Operational Stock Control team is performing according to plan. You will report to the Warehouse Manager Operations Support. Together with our customers and other stakeholders, like the Warehouse and Transport team, you ensure that the warehouse capacity is used optimally.

You will be working in an enthusiastic team of people with a result driven mindset and an “every day better” mentality. Key activities include: Lead the Stock Control Team (Stock Controllers, Cycle Counters, System Support WMS/TMS). Staff training and development. Coordinate Wall to Wall and cycle counts. Manage and report stock discrepancies.

Prepare weekly occupancy forecast. Manage daily occupancy reporting. Initiate and align actions for optimal usage of the warehouse capacity. Manage blocked stock processing and reporting. Responsible for accurate WMS item master and location master parameters. Act as the first point of contact for the Customer Service Team to solve customer complaints.

Create an environment for the team to facilitate process improvements. Contribute to improvement plans and projects. Work according to the applicable SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedures). Create and maintain applicable SOP’s and work instructions. Participate in daily / weekly performance meetings. Create warehouse occupancy impact analyses.

Requirements

A Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM. 2-5 years working experience in a relevant role. A team player attitude. Experience in English (writing and speaking), Dutch is a pre. Good MS Office skills. Proactive attitude. Relevant experience with Warehouse Management Systems. A keen eye for quality.
