Job description
The ideal candidate will have an ability to deliver a range of courses, programs and trainings in the field of Fire and Rescue against applicable NFPA codes and standards, accrediting/awarding body performance standards, or other internationally recognized best-practice standards as appropriate.
Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Standards Deliver and develop training programs in line with NFPA codes, accrediting bodies, and international best practices, ensuring all materials are prepared and followed accordingly. Instruction & Student Support Teach using varied methods (lectures, simulations, discussions), assess individual student needs, provide remedial support when required, and maintain accurate student records.
Preparation & Professional Conduct Ensure punctuality, thorough preparation for all sessions, and timely resolution or reporting of any issues affecting training quality. Coaching & Team Development Support the development and mentoring of fellow instructors to uphold training standards and team capability. Health & Safety Compliance Conduct risk assessments, follow Jaheziya and NFPA safety protocols (including SCBA and PPE use), and help maintain a safe learning environment.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a similar role Certified Professional Qualifications (IFSAC / Pro Board): NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II, or international equivalent NFPA 1072 Hazardous Materials Awareness, Operations, and Mission Specific Competencies (6.2 & 6.6), or international equivalent NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor I and II, or international equivalent NFPA 1021 Fire Officer I and II, or international equivalent NFPA 1031 Fire Inspector I and II, or international equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong communication skills Proficiency in English and Arabic language.
All non proboard/ifsac qualified instructor will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
