Role Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the company’s financial health, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and cost control. This role ensures accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and provides insights to support management decisions and business growth. The Finance Manager works closely with leadership and other departments to support overall company performance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting Prepare monthly and annual financial reports. Manage closing processes and ensure accuracy of financial data. Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits. Budgeting & Monitoring Lead annual budgeting and forecasting. Monitor actual results versus budget and explain differences. Support departments in managing their budgets.
Cash Flow Management Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory. Ensure sufficient cash for daily operations and expansion. Cost & Profitability Control Analyze company costs and identify savings opportunities. Support pricing and profitability analysis. Evaluate financial returns on projects and investments.
Business Support Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making. Prepare dashboards and clear financial summaries for management. Systems & Process Improvement Ensure proper use of accounting/ERP systems. Improve processes and support automation initiatives. Compliance & Risk Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Manage financial risks and maintain proper procedures. Team Leadership Lead and develop the finance team. Promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA) is an advantage. 5–10 years of relevant finance experience. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ERP systems. Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Reporting Line Reports to: Finance Director / CFO Manages: Finance and Accounting team
