As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome a new team member for the following position: Senior Specialist, Procurement Role Purpose: The Senior Specialist, Procurement is responsible for executing category strategies for assigned direct material groups to build a competitive, resilient, and high-performing supplier base.

This role drives procurement excellence through strategic sourcing, supplier lifecycle management, commercial negotiations, market intelligence, and digital procurement initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the incumbent will involve mitigating supply risks, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring procurement practices align with global standards and business objectives.

Role Responsibilities: Implement procurement strategies for assigned material groups to deliver the optimal balance of cost, quality, innovation, flexibility, delivery performance, and supply continuity. Manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, qualification, onboarding, performance evaluation, development, localization, rationalization, and phase-out to build a robust supplier network.

Lead commercial negotiations and contract management activities to achieve cost savings, favourable commercial terms, and long-term value while supporting technical cost optimization initiatives. Conduct procurement market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities, monitor market trends, and optimize supplier portfolios, pricing, payment terms, and delivery performance.

Partner with relevant stakeholders to support New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring supplier readiness, timely material availability, and successful production launches. Proactively identify, assess, and communicate supplier and supply chain risks to key stakeholders, implementing mitigation plans to ensure business continuity and compliance with global procurement standards.

Drive procurement process excellence by utilizing e-Procurement platforms, automation, digitalization, process standardization, and participation in supplier audits and compliance initiatives. Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or strategic sourcing, including at least 2 years within a manufacturing environment or multinational organization.

Proven experience in category management of Packaging, Plastic Injection Manufacturing and Plastic Granulates in particular, strategic sourcing, supplier lifecycle management, supplier development, and contract negotiation. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and cost optimization capabilities, including total cost of ownership methodologies.

Good understanding of supplier qualification, manufacturer and distributor assessment, freight and logistics terms, inventory management, and procurement best practices. Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate effectively across global regions and cultures.

Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in other Asian language would be an advantage. Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, develop alternative sourcing strategies, and travel when required.
