Job Title: PYP Kannada Teacher Location: Harvest International School Curriculum: IB – Primary Years Programme (PYP) Experience: 2–5 Years Role Overview Harvest International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated PYP Kannada Teacher to deliver high-quality language instruction aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme.

The role involves fostering a love for the Kannada language through inquiry-based learning and supporting students’ overall linguistic and cultural development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Kannada lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Kannada Integrate Kannada language learning with PYP transdisciplinary themes Create a positive, inclusive, and inquiry-driven classroom environment Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback to parents Collaborate with homeroom teachers, PYP coordinators, and academic teams Participate in school events, curriculum planning, and professional development programs Promote Kannada language and culture through activities and events Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kannada or a related field B.

Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification 2–5 years of experience teaching primary grades Familiarity with IB PYP or inquiry-based learning approaches (preferred) Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences Preferred Attributes Passion for teaching languages and working with young learners Creative and innovative teaching methods Collaborative and adaptable mindset Commitment to continuous professional growth
