Job description
The PSO helps maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment within the community health center by maintaining a highly visible presence to deter criminal behavior and prohibited activities, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals and property. This role works collaboratively with clinical, medical, and administrative staff to promote safety, support daily operations, and respond to emergent situations.
They uses professional communication, situational awareness, and de-escalation techniques to prevent incidents and address safety concerns calmly and effectively. They serve as an approachable and professional presence focused on prevention, safety, and respectful engagement, ensuring the protection, dignity, and well-being of patients, staff, visitors, and the organization.
