As a Customer Service Agent, you play a key part in keeping our brand strong by demonstrating strict adherence to uniform compliance, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting a positive attitude inside and outside of work. Customer Service Agent serving as a Ticket Agent are the first to greet our customers and guide and assist them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process.
In this position you will: + Greet customers andguide and assist them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process. + Use a computer to sell,print and reissue tickets. + Manage the check-inprocess, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel. + Tag baggage and performlifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyorbelts.
Several other lifting tasks will involve handling items as low asfloor level and as high as waist level. + Practices safetyconscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. PRIMARYFUNCTIONS: Customer Service Agent serving as a Gate Agent help our customers with routing, trip planning and gate boarding.
In this position you will: + Use computers to assistcustomers with seat availability, gate announcements with regard to theboarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managingand initiating the boarding process. + Operate jet ways toplace them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening,closing, and securing aircraft doors.
- Practices safetyconscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. All customer service agents are required to work consistently in public areas and be able to understand and respond to a variety of questions about travel information. Additionally, you may be responsible for escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport.
This position requires standing for long periods of time. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Have a high schooldiploma or GED equivalent + Be at least 18 years ofage + Frequently lift bags oritems weighing up to and including 50 pounds + Be authorized to liveand work in the country you are applying to at the time of application + Possess entry-levelcomputer skills + Strong verbal andwritten communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, andpronunciation + Be willing to work afixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekendsand holidays + Must be fluent in.
English, both written and oral + Must be fluent in.
