Senior Manager - Logistics

Strategic Logistics Management: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the logistics department, ensuring all first, mid, and last-mile operations align with company and client SLAs. Carrier Partner Strategy: Identify and prioritize high-performing carrier partners for critical shipments; manage carrier relationships to ensure delivery alignments even during peak seasons or disruptions.

Advanced Problem Resolution: Serve as the final point of escalation for complex logistics issues, shipping delays, and transportation disruptions, and preventing recurrence. Customer Success & SPR Mastery: Lead the preparation and presentation of Monthly Service Performance Reports (SPR) for key accounts; facilitate high-level discussions with customers to identify areas for improvement and service expansion.

Process Optimization: Design and implement robust systems for shipment tracking and TMS (Transport Management System) updates to ensure 100% data transparency for both internal teams and consignees. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential in-route challenges and develop contingency solutions to maintain agreed TAT (Turnaround Time) and minimize breach of SLAs.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with the Warehouse, IT, and Finance teams to streamline booking management, documentation, and automated reporting. Team Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of logistics executives/assistant managers, fostering a culture of high accountability.

Requirements

Ability to generate and interpret complex MIS reports and logistics data to drive informed business decisions. Expert familiarity with Fleet Management Software, TMS, and real-time tracking systems (e.g., GPS, SIM-based tracking). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi/ Proven ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment, resolving carrier/consignee disputes effectively.

Experience in managing expectations for large enterprise clients and building long-term trust.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Operations and Logistics. Preferably in the Supply Chain industry. MBA in Operations from a top business school.
