Job Description: •Define and develop the end-to-end architecture of electric powertrain systems, including motor, inverter, battery pack, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, and control units. •Lead system-level trade studies, simulations, and modeling to ensure optimal design decisions. •Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop all subsystems for optimal performance and cost.

•Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations (ISO 26262, ISO 21434), and OEM requirements. •Manage requirements engineering for the electric powertrain system and maintain traceability. •Oversee the integration of powertrain components into vehicle platforms (including thermal, mechanical, and electrical interfaces).

•Coordinate validation and testing strategies for system-level performance, durability, and efficiency. •Serve as the technical authority for electric powertrain architecture in concept development, design reviews, and supplier engagements. •Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as SiC inverters, and high-voltage battery systems (400V / 800V).

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. •10+ years of experience in electric powertrain design or system architecture, preferably in the automotive or mobility industry. •Strong understanding of electric motors (PMSM, induction), inverters, HV batteries, and control systems.

•Proficiency with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent. •Experience with system engineering tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, Polarion, SysML/UML). •Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Flex. Ray). •Knowledge of thermal management, and EMC considerations in EV systems.
