Nordisk Aviation Products is growing and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to play a key role in the development, industrialization, and delivery of our products. This role gives you end-to-end responsibility, from concept to final delivery, in close collaboration with engineering, production, and customers.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager, you will: Lead and coordinate technical projects from concept to finished product Ensure progress, quality, and cost control across projects Translate customer requirements and specifications into technical solutions Follow up on design and development in close collaboration with engineering teams Drive design reviews and ensure compliance with requirements and standards Coordinate activities across disciplines and departments Oversee prototyping, testing, and qualification processes Contribute to industrialization and implementation in production Manage changes, risks, and technical clarifications Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Take ownership of deliverables and ensure sound decision-making processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience in product development, mechanical design, or technical projects Experience with project management or technical leadership Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrialization Experience with CAD tools and technical documentation Familiarity with relevant standards and requirements is an advantage, but not a requirement Structured approach to planning, execution, and risk management Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English We are looking for someone who Takes ownership and drives execution Demonstrates strong delivery capability and decision-making skills Can balance technical, commercial, and practical considerations Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships Thrives in a dynamic, high-paced environment Motivates others and drives team progress With us, you will get A key role in developing well-engineered cargo containment solutions for the global aerospace industry The opportunity to influence both technical solutions and project execution A strong professional environment with effective decision-making paths Cross-functional collaboration with highly skilled colleagues Strong growth opportunities, both professionally and in project management The position is based at our headquarters in Holmestrand and we primarily expect daily on-site presence.
