Job description

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a leading food manufacturing company based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia for the position of HSE Line Leader. The role is responsible for driving health, safety, and environmental compliance at the production-line level, ensuring safe work practices, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor HSE activities across the assigned production line/area.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable Saudi regulations.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments.
  • Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor compliance with safe work procedures, PPE requirements, LOTOTO, and other critical safety controls.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective measures.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response procedures.
  • Monitor housekeeping, hygiene, fire safety, chemical handling, and environmental practices within the assigned area.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, inspection findings, and incident documentation.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure HSE standards are consistently maintained.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE initiatives.
  • Track corrective actions and follow up to ensure timely closure.
  • Support internal and external audits and assist in maintaining compliance with relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in HSE, preferably within food manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in a supervisory, team-lead, or line-level HSE role.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety, risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency response, and environmental practices.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HACCP, and food safety standards is preferred.
  • Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and industrial safety requirements.
  • Good communication, reporting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work closely with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Benefits
