Senior Finance Executive

What You'll Do

Full Set of Accounts & Daily Operations Handle the full set of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliations for Singapore market Record daily transactions, process journal entries, issue invoices, and maintain accurate accounting records Process purchase orders and ensure proper documentation across all financial transactions Month-End & Year-End Closing Oversee and ensure timely completion of monthly and year-end closing activities Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules AR & AP Management Monitor accounts receivable, manage debtor aging reports, and follow up on outstanding collections Verify supplier invoices, process accounts payable, and ensure timely vendor payments Compliance & Statutory Reporting Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations for Singapore market Assist in the preparation of tax computations and statutory reporting requirements Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities Budgeting & Financial Analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid management decision-making Process Improvement & Systems Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes Support ERP implementation, migration, or system enhancement initiatives where required Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams — Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations — to ensure smooth and aligned financial processes Requirements Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field Minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full set of accounts exposure Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting systems or ERP software is an advantage Knowledge of project accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance is preferred Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
