Job description

About the role

Tocumulus operates six legal entities across India, the UAE, and the US on a single Odoo platform. We're looking for a Finance Analyst who can move beyond transaction processing to own the analytical and reconciliation work that keeps a multi-entity, multi-currency group clean and audit-ready. This is a role for someone who wants to grow into management reporting and FP&A as the function scales.

Key responsibilities

Perform Intercompany reconciliation across group entities, including identifying and flagging transactions that require elimination in consolidated reporting. Own bank reconciliation across INR, AED, and USD ledgers — investigating variances, chasing unimported statements, and ensuring ledger balances reflect reality.

Support monthly and quarterly close, including consolidation logic across entities and currencies. Produce and interpret financial reports from Odoo — explaining what the numbers mean, not just generating them. Assist with GST (India) and VAT (UAE) compliance data preparation and validation. Partner with external auditors on periodic reviews and support year-end audit readiness.

Investigate data-integrity issues at source and recommend process or system fixes. Act as a reviewer in AI-assisted finance workflows as the group's automation footprint grows. Strongly preferred Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting experience. Consolidation experience for a group (any size). GST and/or UAE VAT literacy.

Comfort working alongside automation and AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

Required qualifications Bachelor's in commerce, Finance, or Accounting; CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred. 5–8 years in a finance/accounting role, with genuine exposure to reconciliation and reporting (not purely data entry). Hands-on experience with an ERP (Odoo strongly preferred; SAP, NetSuite, Zoho, or Tally acceptable).

Strong Excel (pivot tables, lookups, structured analysis). Sound understanding of double-entry accounting and financial statements.
