Requirements
The Role We're on the lookout for a Team Lead – Research Counselor who's equal parts people person and performance driver. You'll lead a team of Research Counselors who connect with students and researchers looking for support with their thesis, dissertations, research papers, assignments, and other academic projects.
From understanding client requirements to ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups, your team will play a key role in helping students find the right solutions. As the Team Lead, you'll be the go-to person for your team — coaching, guiding, and leading by example while keeping clients happy and operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Research Counsellors day-to-day. Keep an eye on team performance and make sure everyone's hitting their stride.
- Help team members navigate client queries, requirements, and follow-ups with ease. Train and mentor your crew to grow their skills and confidence.
- Step in for escalated client concerns — and turn them around smoothly. Work hand-in-hand with other departments for seamless project delivery.
- Put together daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Think of creative ways to boost team efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Keep the team aligned with company policies and best practices. Build a team culture that's positive, collaborative, and fun to work in!
What We're Looking For
What You'll Need 5+ years in counselling, sales, or client-facing roles. 2+ years leading or managing a team. Strong communication & leadership chops. Great at solving problems on the fly. Comfortable with MS Excel & reporting. Works well under pressure and deadlines.
Nice to Have
You genuinely enjoy mentoring others. Relationship-building is your superpower. You're organized AND a people person. Numbers and targets don't scare you. You love digging into data and reporting.
