AWS Platform Engineering Architect

Job Title: AWS Platform Engineering Architect Experience: 15-20 Years ( 8+ Years in AWS & Devops) Location: Hyderabad Mode of work: Hybrid We are seeking an experienced AWS Platform Engineering Architect to design, build, and scale secure, reliable, and high-performance cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will drive cloud architecture strategy, enable engineering teams through platform capabilities, and ensure best practices across infrastructure, automation, and DevOps.

Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS Define and evolve the organization’s cloud platform strategy and standards Build and maintain reusable platform services (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure templates, observability etc.) Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or Cloud.

Formation Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and cost optimization Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to enable self-service platforms Architect multi-account, multi-region AWS environments Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, and operations Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, EKS, etc.) Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud. Formation), Account Factory Terraform Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Expertise in Control Tower, Landing zone, Multi Account AWS Governance & Platform Support.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar) Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Cloud. Watch, Prometheus, Grafana) Familiarity with cost optimization and Fin.
