Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Cloud Integration Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BTP Cloud Integration, also known as SAP CPI or SAP CI.
The professional will be responsible for developing and maintaining B2B integrations with external partners using REST, SOAP, IDoc, SFTP, and AS2. The role requires solid experience with EDI formats, message transformation, Groovy scripting, integration security, certificates, OAuth, and keystore management.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of relevant experience and can develop secure, reliable, and maintainable integration solutions within the SAP BTP environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, configure, and maintain integration flows using SAP BTP Cloud Integration. • Design and implement B2B integrations with external business partners. • Develop integrations using REST and SOAP web services. • Implement integrations using IDoc, SFTP, and AS2 communication mechanisms. • Process and transform business messages using EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, and JSON formats. • Create and maintain message mappings and value mappings. • Develop Groovy scripts to support integration processing and transformation requirements. • Configure and maintain certificates, authentication mechanisms, and integration security controls. • Implement OAuth-based authentication for APIs and integrated services. • Manage certificates and keys using keystore capabilities. • Troubleshoot integration flows, communication failures, mapping errors, and security-related issues. • Support the reliability and maintainability of integrations between SAP solutions and external systems. • Document integration flows, interfaces, mappings, protocols, and security configurations. • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners during integration activities.
Required Technical Skills
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant integration experience. • Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cloud Integration. • Practical experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP CPI, or SAP CI. • Strong experience developing B2B integrations with external partners. • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs. • Experience implementing SOAP-based integrations. • Experience with IDoc-based integration scenarios. • Experience with SFTP communication. • Experience with AS2-based integrations. • Good knowledge of EDI standards and message formats. • Experience with EDIFACT. • Experience with ANSI X12. • Experience processing XML and JSON messages. • Strong knowledge of message mapping. • Experience with value mapping. • Practical experience developing Groovy scripts. • Knowledge of integration security mechanisms. • Experience managing digital certificates. • Knowledge of OAuth authentication. • Experience with keystore management.
Desirable Skills
• Experience with the broader SAP Integration Suite. • Exposure to SAP API Management.

Resume Requirements
The resume must clearly demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience with SAP BTP Cloud Integration, SAP CPI, or SAP CI.
Candidates should describe the B2B integrations they developed or maintained, identifying the external partners, business processes, systems involved, communication protocols, and message formats used.
The resume must present practical experience with REST, SOAP, IDoc, SFTP, AS2, EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, JSON, message mapping, value mapping, Groovy scripting, certificates, OAuth, and keystore management.
Experience with SAP Integration Suite or SAP API Management should also be identified when applicable. Each technology and responsibility must be associated with specific projects, companies, and periods of experience.
