Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Water Resources Manager to their team in Houston!
Responsibilities
Serve as team leader Identify Water Resources opportunities and assist with development of expansion plan Manage project scope, schedule, and budget Lead the development of Hydrologic/Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems Prepare Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans, analysis/design of municipal Stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, green infrastructure), and design of plans/specifications Perform QC of stormwater models, reports, and/or design Responsible for local, state, and federal permitting Prepare proposals and participate in client interviews Represent company at municipal meetings Requirements: B.
S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources engineering preferred 8+ years of experience in the design/management of Stormwater projects Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction PE License Basic principles of infrastructure design/plan preparation knowledge Extensive knowledge of hydrology/hydraulics in the Houston area Technical writing skills Ability to travel through Houston area with own transportation Salary is commensurate with experience.
