Rapid Responder Healthcare Assistant – CHO6 Right at Home is one of Ireland’s leading and award-winning home care providers. We are currently recruiting a full-time Rapid Responder Healthcare Assistant to work across the CHO6 area, including South Dublin, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

The Role As a Rapid Responder Healthcare Assistant, you will provide safe, professional and compassionate care to clients in their own homes. You will also support the team by covering urgent or unplanned care calls when required.

Your responsibilities

Responding to urgent on-call issues and covering care calls when Care Workers are sick or unavailable Delivering care in line with each client’s individual Home Care Plan Supporting clients with personal care, showering, dressing and toileting Providing medication prompting in accordance with the Home Care Plan Preparing meals and assisting with light household duties Supporting clients to maintain their independence and social involvement Protecting the dignity, privacy, safety and well-being of clients at all times Accurately documenting all care provided Reporting any concerns or changes in a client’s condition in line with company policy Supporting the Supervisor and wider care team during quieter periods Compassion, strong communication and organisational skills, along with a calm and caring manner, are essential for this important role.
