Job description

Job Title: AWS Solution Architect – Snowflake & AWS Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Snowflake, and AWS cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions, bridging business requirements with technical execution while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. AML Solution Architecture Design and implement AML compliance frameworks using advanced analytics and transaction monitoring systems Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., FINTRAC, FATF) Optimize AML workflows for improved efficiency, accuracy, and real-time detection
  2. Snowflake Data Architecture Architect and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions in Snowflake Ensure data governance, security, and performance best practices Integrate Snowflake with AML systems and AWS services for seamless data flow
  3. AWS Solution Architecture Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Cloud. Formation or Terraform Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, data science, and compliance teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Mentor junior architects and developers on best practices Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for integration Required Qualifications & Skills 8+ years of experience in solution architecture Minimum 3 years of experience working with AML systems (e.g., Actimize, NICE, or similar platforms) Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, SQL, Snowpipe, tasks) AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-native services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift) Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (AML, KYC, GDPR) Preferred Qualifications Experience in the financial services or banking domain Familiarity with machine learning/AI for fraud detection Snowflake certifications (e.g., Snow. Pro Core or Advanced) Essential Skills AML domain expertise and regulatory understanding Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS) Advanced data engineering and Snowflake skills Problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration abilities
