Job description
The per Diem RN is responsible for providing direct donor care in the Donor Care Unit (DCU). Expected to competently perform the donor care responsibilities of the registered nurse within the assigned work setting. Responsible for direct donor care under the supervision of the medical director/assigned PTC staff. Including the systematic collection/assessment of data in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions required to maximize organ potential.
Implements the medical treatment regimen to meet the assessed needs of the donor in accordance with established medical protocols, policies & procedures, and goals of One. Legacy. Will identify and support the psychosocial needs of donor families and loved ones with direct aid from OL family support teams.
