Trainer – Operating Systems and Networking Fundamentals (IT)
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Instructor to deliver an in-person, hands-on workshop on Operating Systems and Networking Fundamentals. The workshop is designed to provide participants with foundational knowledge and practical exposure to core OS and networking concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an interactive, instructor-led workshop on Operating Systems and Networking Fundamentals Explain concepts using real-world examples and practical demonstrations Facilitate hands-on activities and basic troubleshooting exercises Ensure participant engagement and understanding throughout the workshop Adapt delivery based on participant knowledge levels Maintain attendance and provide post-workshop feedback if required Workshop Coverage Includes: Operating Systems Fundamentals: Overview and purpose of Operating Systems Types of Operating Systems Basic process, memory, and file management concepts User interfaces and essential system utilities Introduction to system security basics Networking Fundamentals: Basics of computer networking Network types (LAN, WAN) OSI and TCP/IP models (high-level overview) IP addressing fundamentals Common networking devices and their functions Basic network troubleshooting concepts Required Qualifications & Experience: Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and Networking fundamentals Prior experience delivering workshops, training sessions, or short courses Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA – advantage) Experience with foundation-level or entry-level IT learners Prior experience delivering in-person workshops in the UAE Workshop Mode: On-site, classroom-based (Abu Dhabi) Compensation: As per workshop duration and agreed rate
