Job description
The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting either the Technology Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering departments. Responsible for assisting with the assembly, diagnostics, and testing of complex electro-mechanical sub-systems and systems. If under Technology Engineering, responsible for design, documentation, build, and prototyping of mold and heater assembly tooling and fixturing.
Works from verbal instructions and preliminary documentation to achieve results. Extended duties include developing knowledge and understanding of engineering practices and procedures and obtaining capabilities in design using CAD software.
