Job description
The Design Quality Engineer is responsible for support of the Quality organization, specifically in the area of Design Controls, as well as functioning as a System Test Engineer in the development, execution, and reporting of test cases (Verification, Validation, and Useability) to cover applicable requirements associated with the design and development of products at the company.
A Design Quality Engineer authors and maintains Design Control SOPs, Work Instructions, and associated documents and also reviews requirements and design documentation and interacts with design engineers to create test cases to fully verify and/or validate those requirements. A Design Quality Engineer is familiar with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and IEC 62366.
