HR & Housing Administrator (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) | Luxury Private Game Reserve | Northern Cape Salary: Negotiable DOE Live-in Position Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an organised and proactive HR & Housing Administrator for a luxury private game reserve in the Northern Cape. This is a six-month fixed-term, live-in position, ideal for an HR professional with strong administrative skills and a sound understanding of human resources processes, industrial relations and staff housing administration.
The successful candidate will provide operational HR support while ensuring all administration is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with relevant legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate personnel records and HR databases Coordinate employment contracts and HR administration with departmental managers Update employment equity, skills development and staff housing records Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures Attend disciplinary hearings as an observer and assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures Provide guidance to management on HR policies and procedures Coordinate internal and external training, including maintaining training records and skills matrices Assist with Skills Development reporting and Workplace Skills Plan administration Coordinate Employment Equity administration and reporting Maintain committee records and documentation Manage staff housing allocations and maintain accurate housing registers Conduct staff housing inspections for new appointments, departures and quarterly compliance Administer the time and attendance system, including employee enrolments, terminations and weekly reporting Coordinate staff recreational activities and transport where required Provide administrative support to other departments when necessary Assist with vehicle refuelling duties according to roster Participate in company committees and sustainability initiatives Requirements Grade 12 Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources would be advantageous Previous HR administration experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism or a similar environment Sound knowledge of HR and Industrial Relations principles and procedures Good understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and relevant labour legislation Excellent communication, interpersonal and administrative skills Strong organisational, planning and time management abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines Professional, emotionally intelligent and results-driven approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's licence (essential) Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays Comfortable living and working in a remote environment Additional Information Six-month fixed-term contract Live-in position Single accommodation provided Staff flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town provided If you do not hear from us within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
