Summary: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into compelling, high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand’s creative vision. This role is ideal for a fresher with a strong foundation in video editing principles and a keen eye for storytelling through visuals.
You will collaborate closely with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to deliver engaging videos for digital platforms, social media, promotional campaigns, and internal communications. Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, professional-quality videos using industry-standard software. Apply color grading, audio mixing, transitions, effects, and visual enhancements to elevate video aesthetics. Collaborate with content creators and producers to understand project goals and ensure alignment with brand tone and messaging.
Optimize video content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) considering format, aspect ratio, and audience preferences. Maintain organized project files and asset libraries for efficient workflow and version control. Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine edits and meet deadlines. Stay updated on emerging video editing trends, tools, and best practices in the media industry.
Requirements
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Basic understanding of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects). Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for visual media. Familiarity with social media content formats and platform-specific video requirements.
