The Company… The company is a renowned industry leader for residential and commercial air conditioning, having a broad customer base for new installations, servicing and maintenance across Sydney and surrounding western suburbs.

Due to the development of various projects and a customer base that trusts on the integrity and reliability of the company’s brand by name, they are seeking to employ a Service Manager that has extensive experience in the field of HVAC Services.

The Position… The position requires the Service Manager to effectively manage team members; including technicians and advisors, ensuring team objectives, projects and sales goals are being carried out. You will need to display extensive working knowledge from within the HVAC industry safeguarding the service department to adhere to all regulatory requirements, having a broad understanding of industry standards and practices, product details and technical service requirements.

Further responsibilities include: Regularly monitor the progress and completion of work performed, to ensure all standards are met and carried out effectively and in a timely manner. Offer exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by professionally discussing benefits of company products and services.

Monitor service department issues and client complaints to determine patterns and work towards reducing any recurring issues. Communicating effectively with suppliers to ensure a timely delivery and in accurately ordering products, stock and parts. Ensuring project works and compliance documentation is completed in accordance with the required regulatory industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will have previous service experience, a comprehensive knowledge of the HVAC Industry, management experience and a strong skill set in building rapport with customers. Furthermore, you will need to have: Experience in using computer-based ordering and booking systems. Experience in servicing major air conditioning and mechanical services plant and equipment.

Strong written and verbal communication. Be mechanical minded, self-motivated and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
