Sr. Front End Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced front-end developer with deep technical expertise in Typescript and modern web development tools to design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise-scale web applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a self-organized Agile engineering team that owns the complete web application and cloud-service lifecycle.
• Own the Front-End Development and related SDK development
• Take ownership of features from requirement analysis and design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Develop high-quality user interfaces using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Build modern web and mobile-responsive applications using frameworks such as React.
• Contribute across the complete cloud-service development lifecycle, including: o Frontend development o DevOps and deployment o Quality assurance o Production monitoring and support
• Develop and maintain unit tests, CI/CD pipelines associated with the application.
• Participate in production operations, including Monitoring,. Alerting , Logging and Troubleshooting
• Debug complex technical issues involving multiple applications and system components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects and product owners to understand requirements and convert them into effective technical implementations.
• Identify opportunities to improve application scalability, reliability, usability, accessibility, performance and security.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

Mandatory Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related Engineering
• 7–10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript behavior, limitations, quirks and workarounds.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript standards, including ES6 and ES7.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience developing modern, responsive web applications and strong understanding of frontend architecture and component-based application development. Preferred Skill Requirements
• Experience building applications using at least one modern frontend framework like React, Angular, Vue.js
• Experience with common frontend development tools like NPM, Webpack, Babel
• Experience writing unit tests and automated tests for frontend applications.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and approaches for resolving them.
• Strong debugging, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Sound understanding of core computer programming principles.
• Knowledge of Browserstack, GraphQL, WebSockets, or TypeScript-based backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps and automated testing pipelines. Soft Skills
