Job description
Primary Purpose of the Job Participates in maintaining continuous Refinery Operation and Production by directly supervising, troubleshooting, co-ordinating and participating in the maintenance of Distribution Control Systems (DCS) to monitor/control Refinery 1, 2, 3, RFCC Plant, Chemical Plant, SRU, Utilities, Offsite and Berth No. 6. Organizes and executes a variety of complex tasks and modifications to meet Refinery operations and safety requirements including design, installation, configuration, documentation, optimization and administration of DCS systems. Assists in the preparation of preventive maintenance plans and implements the approved plant request changes to maintain the reliability and quality of the systems. Required Experience and Skills Incumbent must have at least 8 years of experience as Instrument Engineer in Refinery and/or oil and gas petrochemical plant. Should have experienced with Honeywell DCS for at least 5 years. Educational Qualifications Candidates must have completed a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's Degree in Engineering with major study in an academic field related to Instrumentation Engineering.
