Job description
Position Context The NVH CAE Lead Engineer is responsible for leading virtual NVH development activities and ensuring vehicle NVH targets are achieved through simulation-driven engineering. The role serves as the technical focal point for CAE analysis, correlation, and optimization of vehicle noise, vibration, and harshness performance from concept through production.
Position Responsibilities Lead NVH CAE activities for complete vehicle and subsystem development. Define and execute simulation plans in line with vehicle NVH targets and program milestones. Perform and guide: Modal Analysis Frequency Response Analysis (FRF) Structural Dynamics Analysis Vibro-Acoustic Analysis Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) Road Noise and Powertrain NVH Analysis Develop, maintain, and correlate finite element (FE) models with physical test data.
Identify root causes of NVH issues and recommend design improvements. Work closely with Design, Vehicle Integration, Testing, and Validation teams to ensure target achievement. Support prototype and production vehicle NVH assessments. Review supplier deliverables and provide technical guidance. Mentor junior engineers and drive CAE best practices and process improvements.
Support benchmark studies and competitive vehicle assessments.
