SAP IS-U Billing and Device Management Consultant

Job Description: Role: ISU Techno Functional Duration: 12 Months Location: Calgary, AB- Hybrid – 3 days per week in office Experience Required 8–10 years of experience in SAP IS-U Billing and Device Management. Strong experience in SAP IS-U Billing, Device Management (DM), and utility industry processes. Experience in Project Management and Team Management.

Role Description The ISU Techno Functional Consultant will provide operational and application support for SAP IS-U Billing and Device Management processes, ensuring efficient Meter-to-Cash operations. The role will be responsible for incident resolution, configuration, testing, functional design, process improvements, and supporting integrations across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and resolve day-to-day incidents, billing exceptions, and defects to ensure smooth Meter-to-Cash operations.
2. Provide operational support by addressing issues related to:

• Billing exceptions
• Device installation and removal
• Meter readings
• Device Management (DM) integration defects 3.Manage incidents and support operations related to data exchange (IDEX) processes, including IDoc processing.

1. Perform SAP IS-U configuration updates for:

• Billing
• Device Management (DM) 5.Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF objects, including:
• Billing reports
• Device Management workflows
• Microsoft Fabric pipelines 6.Conduct:
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ensure end-to-end validation across integrated systems.

1. Identify and recommend process improvement and automation opportunities utilizing Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including:

• Dataflows
• Pipelines
• Lakehouse
• Power BI Embedded Analytics 8.Analyze recurring issues and recommend automation solutions or process enhancements to reduce manual effort and minimize billing exceptions.
