Job Advert Radiology Health care assistant – Radiology
- Springfield Hospital – Chelmsford The role The Radiology Health Care Assistants will work closely with the Consultant Radiologists and will support the Ultrasound service by providing excellent patient care, specially in our busy breast clinics. As a HCA you will be responsible for assisting the Radiologists with examinations and support in the planning and booking ultrasound lists.
What you will do
Set up clinics and work with Consultant Radiologists during Ultrasound clinics Assist with minor procedures e.g US guided injections, biopsies Face to face and telephone communication with patients and Consultants. Administrative duties including finishing each examination properly and getting room and equipment ready for next clinic or patient.
Skills Requirement: RGN level 1 registration Experience working in an OPD, Pre Assessment and/or theatres setting working independently and as part of a team Good Communication / interpersonal skills Flexibility Approachable / Supportive and Professional What you will bring: Excellent Organisational skills Have a positive attitude providing excellent customer care at all times Be flexible and adapt to meet the changing needs of the business Where you’ll be based Springfield Hospital opened in 1987 and is one of Essex’s leading private hospitals.
It is a 64 bedded unit consisting of fifty-eight private bedrooms three of which are two bedded parent and child rooms and a high observation unit with three beds. We are looking to recruit a Bank Health Care Assistant to join our Radiology team at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford. Our Radiology team plays a vital role in providing excellent patient outcomes, and we reward them with an interesting and varied role.
