Job description
The Traffic Project Engineer handles traffic counts, engineering calculations, traffic analysis, computer modeling, illumination design, and traffic control device design for large civil and transportation projects.
Responsibilities include
client and agency coordination, preparing traffic analyses, plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and quality control. Minimal oversight is required. The role demands a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, mentoring others, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in drafting and software, quick application of traffic design concepts, and sound judgment are essential.
