Job Description: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of decorators and associated machinery within the can manufacturing facility to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product quality. Job Responsibilities:** * Perform routine and preventative maintenance on decorators, including ink systems, coating units, and drying ovens, to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on decorator equipment and execute timely repairs to restore functionality. * Install new decorator machinery and ancillary equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and integration with existing production lines. * Conduct regular inspections of decorator components, identifying worn parts and potential malfunctions, and initiating corrective actions.

Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues related to decorator performance, such as print registration, ink adhesion, and coating consistency. * Calibrate and adjust decorator settings to achieve specified print and coating quality standards. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during maintenance and repair operations. * Collaborate with production teams to optimize decorator performance and improve overall line efficiency. * Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or operators on decorator operation and basic maintenance. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to decorator technology and maintenance practices.
Job Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is highly preferred. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, specifically with industrial printing or decorating machinery, preferably within a can manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues and perform effective repairs. * Experience with precision alignment and calibration of industrial equipment.
