HR Generalist Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico Work Modality: On-site (Manufacturing Plant) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: MXN $35,000 – $42,000 per month Position Objective We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations, including NOM-035 .
This role requires a strong presence on the production floor, supporting both operational and unionized employees while promoting employee engagement and implementing HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage labor relations, including disciplinary actions, employee counseling, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and NOM-035 requirements, including surveys, assessments, and audits. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, recognition programs, and company events.
Maintain HR administrative processes, including attendance records, employee files, and personnel documentation. Oversee employee services such as transportation, cafeteria, and uniform administration. Lead recruitment and selection processes for operational and administrative positions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. 5–8 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment. Experience leading recruitment and selection processes for operational and administrative positions. Experience working with unionized workforces . Strong knowledge of NOM-035 and Mexican labor law compliance.
Advanced English (required). Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly preferred.
