We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within mechanical design, product development and innovation. What you will work on You will have a varied role, collaborating closely with experienced engineers and the production team: Create and update 2D and 3D drawings (CAD) Contribute to technical documentation and production drawings Participate in product development, improvement and innovation Support prototyping, testing, and verification activities Collaborate with production to ensure practical and efficient solutions Contribute to improvements in design, quality, and cost Take part in smaller projects and gradually take on more responsibility Who you are You typically have 3–5 years of experience, but recent graduates with strong motivation to learn are also encouraged to apply You hold an education in mechanical engineering, technical drafting (draftsman) or a related field (technical college or bachelor’s degree) You have experience with CAD and PDM systems (preferred Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, or similar) You are passionate about technical solutions, product development and innovation You preferably some practical, hands-on experience You have good communication skills in both Norwegian and English To succeed in this role, we believe you Are curious and eager to learn Are structured and focused on quality Enjoy collaboration and actively ask questions to accelerate learning and development Take initiative and are motivated to develop professionally Thrive in a dynamic environment with varied tasks and a high pace With us, you will get The opportunity to work on well-engineered cargo containment solutions used in aircraft worldwide An inclusive and highly competent professional environment Strong opportunities for professional development and career growth Mentorship from experienced and highly skilled colleagues A varied workday combining design and hands-on work The position is based at our headquarters in Holmestrand and primarily requires daily on-site presence.
