Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role Oversees a crew of 4–8 employees and manages the daily work performed. Ensures adherence to all safety policies, assists with weekly safety training and inspections, and helps maintain proper inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies. Performs a wide variety of tasks to maintain an attractive landscape, including weed control, perennial cultural practices, pruning, pest treatments, planting, routine lawn care (grass cutting, edging), and seasonal clean-up.

Operates various mechanical equipment (mowers, back hoes, bobcats, tillers, chainsaws, etc.), moves materials, digs holes and trenches, hauls/spreads materials, and performs snow removal. Provides training to Landscaping Technicians, maintains assigned equipment, responds politely to customer inquiries, applies chemicals under direction, and assists Facilities Maintenance staff and special projects, including painting during the winter season.

Qualifications

What minimum requirements you’ll need Education: High school diploma or Equivalent License: Valid State Driver’s License and insurable with company’s agent Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) -preferred Pesticide Certification - preferred Experience: Five years of experience in landscaping or horticultural work How you’ll make an impact in this role Oversees a crew of 4-8 employees and manages the daily work performed.
