Job description

Practice VIO Med Spa (Dobbs Ferry, NY) Location 45 Hamilton St, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 Compensation $25.00 - $30.00/hr + service commission + retail commission Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time. Monday to Saturday operation, closed Sunday. Saturday coverage required. Employment Full-Time or Part-Time | W2 | On-Site An hourly base at the upper end of the Westchester range, commission on top, and a treatment room in an established, well-reviewed med spa in the Rivertowns.

Full-time or part-time both work here, and we are open to newer estheticians who can already run a facial well. About This Practice VIO Med Spa Dobbs Ferry opened in June 2025 at Rivertowns Square and was the first VIO Med Spa in Westchester County. It is a physician-guided medical spa offering injectables, facial and skin treatments, laser and light therapy, body contouring, and IV and wellness services.

The center carries a 4.9 star guest rating, and guests name their providers by first name in reviews, which tells you how the room is run. The location sits in a walkable retail district in the Hudson River villages, minutes from Hastings-on-Hudson, Ardsley, Irvington, and Tarrytown, and a short drive from Yonkers and the north Bronx.

Ownership is engaged and hands-on with the business, and the center operates under a physician-led model with established medical protocols. The Role This is a licensed esthetician role focused on skin. You own the facial and skin-treatment side of the guest experience: the consultation, the treatment, the homecare plan, and the rebook.

Services outside the New York esthetician scope of practice, including injectables and energy-based device treatments, are performed by the center's licensed clinical providers, not by you. You work alongside them, not in place of them. This is an established seat on an operating team, and the center will consider one full-time esthetician or two part-time estheticians.

Tell us in your application which you are looking for.

What You Will Do

Deliver customized and corrective facials, hydradermabrasion treatments, superficial chemical peels and enzyme exfoliation, extractions, dermaplaning, and LED therapy, in every case within your New York esthetician scope of practice and the center's written protocols. Run real skin consultations: analyze the skin, set honest expectations, and build a treatment cadence and a medical-grade homecare plan the guest can actually follow.

Rebook guests before they leave and recommend memberships and homecare products when they fit the guest's goals, in a consultative, guest-first way. Refer accurately. When a guest's goal calls for injectables, energy-based treatment, or anything else outside esthetician scope, hand off cleanly to the appropriate licensed provider.

Maintain treatment-room sanitation, infection control, product inventory, and clinical documentation to medical-practice standards. How Success Is Measured Guests rebook with you and come back on cadence. Healthy retail and membership attachment alongside your service revenue. Treatment-room utilization that grows month over month.

Requirements

Must-Haves Active New York State esthetics license in good standing, issued by the NYS Department of State, Division of Licensing Services. A New York cosmetology license that covers esthetics services also qualifies. Hands-on experience performing facials on paying clients. Newer estheticians are welcome to apply if you can already run a full facial start to finish without supervision.

Working knowledge of skin physiology and common skin conditions, sound extraction and facial-massage technique, and consistent sanitation discipline. Comfort with a pay structure that includes a commission component on top of your hourly base. Reliable transportation to Dobbs Ferry, NY and availability that includes some Saturday coverage.

Strong Advantages, Not Required Prior experience in a medical spa, dermatology practice, plastic surgery practice, or other physician-led aesthetics setting. Hydra. Facial or other hydradermabrasion certification, and hands-on experience with superficial peel lines and dermaplaning. Familiarity with medical-grade skincare lines such as Skin.

Ceuticals, ZO Skin Health, Alastin, Obagi, or Revision Skincare. A track record of rebooking, retail attachment, or membership conversion that you can speak to specifically. A professional Instagram or portfolio showing your work.

Benefits

Compensation

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour. New estheticians typically start at $25.00 per hour, and movement through the range is based on tenure, experience, consistency of your utilization rate, and guest feedback. On top of the hourly base, this role earns a commission on service revenue and a commission on retail product sales. Full commission detail is reviewed with you during the interview process.

Schedule and Work Model This is an on-site W2 role at 45 Hamilton St in Dobbs Ferry. The center operates Monday through Saturday and is closed Sunday, with two later weekday closes and Saturday hours. Saturday coverage is part of the role. Both full-time and part-time candidates are being considered, and the application asks which you are looking for along with the days and hours that work for you.

Benefits

and Perks W2 employment with an established, operating center. Gratuities paid to providers on top of hourly and commission. Paid brand and protocol training, plus ongoing continuing education through VIO. Employee and family pricing on treatments and medical-grade skincare. Physician-guided clinical oversight and written treatment protocols.

Why This Role You get a real hourly floor rather than commission-only or booth rent, in a market where a lot of skin work is paid on the low end of the range. You get a guest base that already exists, in a center with a 4.9 star rating and a year of operating history behind it, so your first month already has bookings in it.

And you get to work in a physician-guided environment with defined protocols, alongside injectors and clinical providers, which is the setting most estheticians say they want and comparatively few Westchester employers actually offer. About VIO Med Spa VIO Med Spa is a nationally recognized franchise, proudly named Entrepreneur Magazine's #1 Med Spa Franchise for three consecutive years.

The brand is built around physician-guided, results-driven aesthetics and wellness, with clinical oversight, established treatment protocols, and ongoing provider training. The Dobbs Ferry location is independently owned and operated. Hiring Process Apply → alignM!NT Review → Recruiter Interview → Client Interview(s) → Offer → placeM!
