HR & Office Management Intern Are you ready to kickstart your HR career at one of the fastest-growing companies in the merchandise industry? Join the team at Monday Merch in the heart of Rotterdam and gain hands-on experience in building and scaling in an international scale-up environment. As our HR Intern, you will work closely with the Head of HR and play an active role in shaping the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
This is not a "sit and observe" internship - you will contribute directly to onboarding, employee engagement, culture initiatives, and HR process improvement from day one. The Role As an HR Intern, you will support the day-to-day activities while helping create an engaging and positive employee experience. You will gain exposure to the full 360° HR cycle and learn how HR operates within a fast-growing scale-up environment.
You enjoy bringing structure to moving pieces, spotting opportunities for improvement, and creating positive experiences for employees while handling information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration Support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and internal systems accurately and confidentially. Assist with contract administration, onboarding documentation, and HR processes. Support the continuous improvement and standardisation of HR workflows and policies.
Help ensure data accuracy across HR systems and employee records. Onboarding & Employee Experience Coordinate and continuously improve the onboarding experience for new hires. Prepare onboarding schedules, welcome packs, equipment, and first-day logistics. Support offboarding processes and help create positive employee transitions.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and culture-building activities. Help create a seamless employee experience throughout key employee lifecycle moments. Recruitment & Talent Support Support recruitment activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and hiring administration.
Ensure candidates have a positive and professional experience throughout the hiring process. Assist with employer branding initiatives and recruitment-related projects. Coordinate interview logistics and support hiring managers where needed. Culture & Workplace Experience Support initiatives that strengthen collaboration, engagement, and connection across the team.
Help organise team events, celebrations, onboarding moments, and company-wide initiatives. Assist in maintaining a welcoming and professional workplace environment that supports employee wellbeing.
