Job description
The Doula II provides culturally sensitive support and training using program curriculum to assist at-risk women in early stages of pregnancy to heal from their own trauma and prepare to become mothers. As a Doula II, you will work collaboratively with the Family Support Services team to ensure quality, comprehensive care while creating a service plan for each participant, and then assist in establishing and completing goals.
You will maintain a caseload of 10 participants, 2 of which additional documentation will be required for Medicaid billing - complete case notes and other required documentation of services. As a Doula II, you will attend births as requested by the mother and participate in the on-call system and provide back up to traditional doulas as required by the program.
