Job Description: Key responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure Stack HCI, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering and Windows Admin Center across production hosted environments.
- Manage Windows Server estates across supported versions, ensuring consistent configuration, patching, performance and operational resilience.
- Support high availability operations, live migrations and capacity planning for clustered infrastructure.
- Manage core networking including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, switching, LACP, firewall rules, routing and secure remote access.
- Administer platform security controls including Forti. Gate, Duo MFA, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, certificates and privileged access.
- Own storage and backup operations including QNAP NAS, iSCSI provisioning, Backup. Chain, Azure Backup, i. Backup, restore testing and disaster recovery readiness.
- Support platform services such as RDS, web infrastructure and SQL backup and restore processes.
- Work with suppliers and support partners to resolve infrastructure incidents, coordinate maintenance and uphold service standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational standards, CMDB records and governance processes for hosted infrastructure. Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in private cloud or hosted infrastructure administration.
- Good working knowledge of Azure Stack HCI, Hyper-V, Windows Server and failover clustering.
- Practical networking knowledge covering switching, VLANs, IP addressing, VPN-aware administration and firewall management.
- Experience administering infrastructure security tooling and applying patch, access and vulnerability controls.
- Knowledge of storage, backup, restore and DR processes, including RPO/RTO awareness.
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues methodically and restore service safely.
- Strong documentation, governance and change control discipline.
- Desirable: experience in hosted services, vendor coordination, SQL backup operations and infrastructure automation using Power. Shell. Have queries? We’re here to assist you!
